Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)

To become a MSDT instructor you need to have certified 25 students and be able to teach 5 different PADI specialties. The specialties will help you to reach your first certifications to gain the MSDT Instructor rating. The MSDT program is designed so that it develops your teaching skills and broadens the courses you can offer to your students.
The program is taught over a period of 5 days covering the 5 different specialties of your choosing. This can be done right after your IDC and Instructor Examination. After reaching 25 certifications you will be to obtain your MSDT application.

Staff Instructor Course

The IDC Staff Instructor course qualifies you to teach Assistant Instructors and become part of the Instructor Development Course by helping training candidates to the instructor level. You will assist in the IDC and teach people becoming an OWSI Instructor. The course stretches over a period of 14 days with 2 days of training and following an entire IDC. The course focuses on evaluation and counseling skills. The same segments of the IDC will be followed with extra attention to IDC demonstration skills, knowledge development, confined water and open water sessions evaluation. Prerequisites PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer minimum 18 years old
